Can you give us a little background on your debut?
Sleeping Beauty no more is a darker fairytale retelling of Sleeping Beauty.
Can you give us any insight into your planning and writing process?
I write books in terms of themes, for example, my debut novel, My Dear Ellie, is about friendship while my book, The Stone Mermaid, is about forbidden love.
Silence or music or other when writing/editing?
Silence, but can work with an ambient background. I am usually too absorbed to notice while writing/editing.
You can erase one book or series from your mind entirely so that you can read it again for the first time, which do you erase?
The lord of the rings
Who are some of your favourite authors/books?
Jane Austen, Tolkien, Jennifer Armentrout, Leigh Bardugo, Holly Black, Neil Gaiman
Who are your favourite book characters?
Tortured, morally grey characters. Characters with great sarcastic quips ready at all times. Vulnerable, heart broken characters. Characters with quiet strengths. All the above.

All of them

My novella, The Nine Muses, was inspired by Greek mythology.

I like cats. They seem to live the good life.
You can go back in time and live a different period of history, when do you choose?
I rather choose the future, but perhaps the Renaissance. It was a golden period for arts and creativity.
You can meet any five people in the world, who would you choose?
Other authors from different genres, so I can soak in their perspectives and insights. Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Jennifer Armentrout, Holly Black, and I will add Oprah, too.
